Auction description:
The Zurich Auction 2025 Saturday, 01 November 2025
1994 Jaguar XJ220
Estimate:CHF 420'000 - CHF 470'000
Chassis No. SAJJEAEX8AX220851
Displaying just 336 kilometers at cataloging
Benefits from nearly €40.000 worth of service work rendered by the experts at Don Law Racing
Exceptional presentation of a highly original example
Finished in the concept launch livery of Spa Silver over a Smoke leather interior
One of approximately 282 XJ220s produced
One of the most exciting and exclusive supercars of the 1990s
First registered in France on 14 January 1994 to prominent Saudi Arabian businessman Sheik Ahmed Jamal Jawa, this XJ220 was just the 90th example produced. The history file shows that by November 2014, the car was in the expert care of Don Law Racing for a major 24-month service, which included removing the engine and transmission, replacing belts, clutch, fluids, and filters, installing a new fuel tank kit, stainless steel fuel hoses, high-pressure fuel pumps, and updating ignition components. This major service was followed by a complete brake overhaul and engine bay detailing in December 2014, and a new ECU was installed in February 2015. The car was then brought to Sweden, where it was registered on 9 May 2016, and saw another full 24-month service by Don Law in November 2017, which included renewed belts, clutch, fluids, filters, engine seals and gaskets, fitted catalytic converter bypass pipes, and addressed headlamp alignment and other necessary adjustments. In total, the car received nearly €40.000 worth of service work.
Since entering Sweden, the car has seen limited use, resulting in displaying just 336 kilometers at cataloging. Not only is this result of its ultra-low mileage, but the careful handling since new has also left this example in fantastic condition today. This low mileage and exceptional presentation, allied to the model's sublime looks, staggering performance, and illustrious heritage, render the car a highly attractive proposition for any aspiring supercar owner, not to mention one guaranteed to turn heads for the next three decades, as it has for the last.
